Nepal participating in Eighth World Para Taekwondo Championship

Kathmandu– Nepal is participating in the Eighth World Para Taekwondo Championship. 
A four-member team comprising two players is leaving here tomorrow for Antalya of Turkey to participate in the competition. The championship will take place on February 5 and 6. 

Bikram Shrestha will compete in the male singles ‘pumse’, P-30 category, while Palesha Govardan will compete in the women’s under-58 Kg weight ‘K-44’ category. Palesha is the winner of bronze medal in the Fourth Asian Para Taekwondo Championship held in Vietnam. 

Included in the team are Ram Chandra Shrestha as the team manager and Kabiraj Negi Lama as the instructor.
