Tipper rams pedestrians killing a teenager

Malekhu (Dhading)- A pedestrian was killed and three others were injured this morning after getting rammed by a tipper at Khatripauwa of Dhunibesi municipality – 9 along the Prithvi highway.

The tipper (Na 4 Kha 3105) en route to Kathmandu from Baireni rammed the four pedestrians walking on the roadside killing 18 – year – old Ajay Tamang of Dhunibesi municipality – 9, Superintendent of Police (SP) Sharat Khatri said.

The tipper fled the scene after hitting the pedestrians, but the police were successful in arresting the driver later on. The injured persons have been taken to the Bir Hospital in Kathmandu for treatment.
