Convict arrested after 11 years from Indian district

Baitadi - A Darchula police have arrested a person convicted of murder and who had been on the run for the past 11 years. 

40 – year – old Khadga Bahadur Dhami known as Khande of Dahabagar – 5 has been arrested, shared Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kedar Khanal of District Police Office, Darchula. 

He was convicted in the murder of Kanthari Dhami, his sister – in – law by relation at midnight of September 11, 2007. 

The Bajhang police had tipped off the police administration in Darchula a month ago that they had information that Khande was in India. The Darchula police then made the arrest of the murderer from Munsiari of Pithoragarh district, India in coordination with the Indian police on Friday.
