Doti's rural track roads made impassable by monsoon downpour

Doti - The monsoon downpour here has disrupted regular transportation along the Doti's rural track roads.

More than a dozen roads in the district have become impassable, according to Dipayal's passenger bus driver, Dev Bahadur Saud.

The huge depressions along the roads and the muddy slush have turned the track roads into a slippery nightmare. The vehicular movement along many roads has completely shutdown.

The villagers have been forced to walk miles on foot to reach their destinations. The Rajpur – Chawara Chautara road section, which is considered the longest route in the district, is also 0ut of service. Vehicles plying the route are only able to travel as far as half of the total length of the route from where the passengers are compelled to walk.
