Prisoner dies from liver cancer

Ratnanagar (Chitwan) - A prisoner has died from cancer here at Bharatpur's district prison. 

47 – year – old Sitaram BK of Handikhola of Makawanpur died at 5 am today, according to Jailer Kamal Kafle. BK suffering from liver cancer was rushed to Bharatpur Hospital in a critical condition and was pronounced dead this morning. 

BK was transferred to Chitwan from Central Prison Kathmandu on June 27 to facilitate his medical treatment. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison after being indicted for murder and had already served two years.
