Students launch hunger strike against hike in fees

Itahari - Two student unions at the Eastern Region Engineering Campus have protested the decision of the engineering research institute of the Tribhuvan University to hike fees by 70 per cent. 

Students associated with Nepal Students' Union (NSU) and All Nepal National Independent Students' Union (Revolutionary) have launched hunger strike demanding the immediate withdrawal of the decision taken without students' consent to hike fees. 

NSU's Vice President, Saroj Adhikari, and Revolutionary's Vice Chair, Krishnaraj Neupane, have launched the hunger strike.
