SAFF U-19 Championship: Nepal loses to India

Nepal lost 1-0 against India in its final SAFF U-19 Women's Championship group match in Dhaka on Sunday.
The win secured India's place in the final. Nepal's slim hopes of reaching the final rest on the result between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
Nepal will reach the final only if Sri Lanka defeats Bangladesh in the final group match. If Bangladesh draw or win the match, they will reach the final at Nepal's expense. Sri Lanka, however, have not scored in their previous three matches in the competition.
Priyanka Devi scored the only goal in the 67th minute for India. India needed a win against Nepal to book their place in the final.
Nepal had drawn Bangladesh and defeated Sri Lanka 6-0 and Bhutan 4-0 in its previous matches.
