Prohibitory order lifted in Humla

HUMLA, July 2: The prohibitory order imposed to contain the spread of COVID-19 since May 5 in the district of Humla has been lifted from Thursday midnight, the administration said.

Chief District Officer and Coordinator of District COVID-19 Crisis Management Committee (DCCMC) Ganesh Acharya said that the people in the district, however, will abide by health protocol though the prohibitory order was lifted.

With the decision, the private airline companies could operate their flights to Humla from Nepalgunj and Surkhet from today.

Prior to this, the people were supposed to get approval from the District Administration Office to travel by planes.
