CM Raut extends best wishes on Saraswati Puja


Chief Minister of Province No 2 Lalbabu Raut has extended best wishes to all the Nepalis at home and abroad on the occasion of Saraswati Puja (also known as Basanta Panchami) that falls today. 

Stating that Saraswati Puja has been observing since Vedic age as the light of knowledge, CM Raut has wished that Goddess Saraswati would bless creators, scholars, artistes and artists with more energy in their respective fields.

In a message of best wishes, the CM has also wished that may those communities lagging behind in terms of education be inspired to gain education. 

Saraswati Puja is being observed today across the country by worshipping Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, wisdom, art and music. The day is also taken as a symbol of advent of spring season. 

Schools and other education institutions arrange prayers assembly and worship Goddess Saraswati as well as books and pens on this day.
