Senior journalist Parajuli passes away

Pokhara - Journalist Krishna Prasad Parajuli has passed away today. He was 54. 

Parajuli died at his house at Simalchaur, Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City-8. He had been suffering from liver and lung ailment due to jaundice. 

Journalist Parajuli had been taking rest at his house after undergoing medical treatment in Kathmandu some days back. 

He was active in the journalism sector since three decades. Parajuli was a member of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Kaski district chapter. He was also the central general convention member of the Nepal Press Union from Kaski district. 

FNJ Kaski chapter has expressed deep sorrow on the demise of journalist Parajuli and extended heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family. 

Issuing a condolence message on behalf the FNJ Kaski, FNJ Kaski president Dipendra Shrestha said Parajuli's untimely demise has caused an irreparable loss to the journalism sector. 

Parajuli had started his career in journalism from the Janasatta newspaper. He also worked for Commander, Himdoot, Kaski Abhiyan and Pokhreli Abhiyan among other dailies. 

He is survived by two wives, two daughters and a son. 

His last rites were performed today at Tulsighat on the bank of the Seti River.
