Flood caused Rs 20 billion in loss in irrigation sector

Bhadrapur - State Minister for Irrigation Amar Singh Pun has said that the floods and inundation happened across the country last month caused nearly Rs 20 billion in loss in the irrigation sector. 

State Minister Pun said so while making an onsite visit of the damages caused by the floods in Chauritapu in Gaurigunj-1 in Jhapa district on Thursday. On the occasion, Pun said that the construction works of the irrigation infrastructures damaged by the floods and inundation would be expedited soon.
