Scooty rider killed in accident

Chitwan - A scooter rider was killed in an accident at Khairhani of eastern Chitwan this afternoon. Krishna Mani Neupane of around 65 years of age who was severely injured when his scooter ( Na 20 Pa 68) was hit by a truck (( Na 6 Kha 2389) at Shantibazaar of Khairhani Municipality-10 succumbed while being taken to a hospital for treatment, as stated by the District Police Office, Chitwan. Following the accident, police have arrested the truck driver and impounded the vehicle.
