100 Nepali nationals flying to Israel for foreign employment on July 24, 25

KATHMANDU, July 19: After a hiatus of over five months, Nepali nationals are finally being allowed to fly to Israel for foreign employment.

As many as 100 Nepali nationals are scheduled to fly to Israel for foreign employment on July 24 and 25, 2022, according to the Department of Foreign Employment.

The department has also urged those selected to submit required documents by Wednesday.

These selected people will have to pay a ticket fare of Rs 59,990 each. They will also have to undergo a COVID-19 test within 72 hours ahead of attending the flight and COVID-19 negative report is mandatory.

The governments of Nepal and Israel had earlier signed an agreement to welcome 1,000 Nepali nationals to Israel for foreign employment. Of them, 297 are currently in Israel.
