Active COVID-19 case tally nears 2,000-mark as 357 people test positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday

Kathmandu Valley records 154 new cases in the past 24 hours

KATHMANDU, July 19: Nepal on Tuesday recorded 357 new cases of COVID-19, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).

With this, there are currently 1,982 active cases of COVID-19 across the country.

As many as 3,357 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours.

Likewise, the Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 154 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday. Of them, 119 were detected in Kathmandu, 30 in Lalitpur and five in Bhaktapur districts.
