Number of active COVID-19 cases surpasses 500
78 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed on Thursday
KATHMANDU, July 7: Nepal on Thursday recorded 78 more new cases of COVID-19, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
Of 3,515 tests conducted on Thursday, COVID-19 was diagnosed in 78 people.
With this, the number of active COVID-19 cases in the country has reached 505.
The MoHP on Wednesday confirmed infection of the BA.5 sub-variant of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 in COVID-19 patients in Kathmandu.
