353 candidates elected unopposed

\\KATHMANDU, May 2: As many as 352 candidates for the various posts in the upcoming local level election have been elected unopposed, according to the Election Commission (EC).

Likewise, of 753 local level across the country, as many as 6,743 individuals had announced their candidacy for the post of Dalit member. However, 170 of them did not file their nominations, according to Surya Prasad Aryal, deputy spokesperson for the poll body.

The local level election is scheduled for May 13.
