BP's path brings changes in Nepal to present situation: leader Poudel

Pokhara – Nepali Congress senior leader Ramchandra Poudel has said changes in Nepal happened and come to the present situation on the basis of principles and ideologies of BP Koirala. 


Speaking at an interaction programme on " BP's thought in present context" organised by the BP Koirala Study Foundation, Province 4 here today, said a federal democratic republic system was the then wishes of BP Koirala. 


Stating that the NC was not deviant from the BP's path, he claimed that the same path had taken the rights centered on the Singha Durbar to villages. "Nepal has promulgated the pro-people's constitution through the Constituent Assembly, taking the long political transition to a conclusion," he said, adding that justice for voiceless and income for people in deprivation was the goal of BP's principle of socialism which would be the agenda of all political parties and the government as well. 


Also speaking on the occasion, general secretary of Nepal Tarun Dal, youth wing of the Congress, Bhupendra Jung Shahi stated that the BP's principles and ideologies are equally relevant at the present time. (Photo available)
