Russia Shoots Down 130 Ukrainian Drones over Several Provinces

“ The Russian Ministry of Defense announced Thursday that its air defense systems shot down 130 Ukrainian drones over several Russian regions overnight, including one over Moscow.

A statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense indicated that 32 drones were shot down in the Kursk and Belgorod regions, 20 in the Voronezh region, 17 over the Black Sea, seven in Crimea, six in the Oryol region, five in the Krasnodar Territory, four in the Tambov region, three in the Rostov region, two in the Bryansk region, and one each in the Tula and Moscow regions.

Russia and Ukraine have been exchanging almost daily reports since the start of their conflict on Feb. 24, 2022, claiming advances or repelling attacks by the other side. These reports have not been independently verified due to the ongoing war.
