CPN-UML to obstruct HoR meeting while FinMin will be answering to queries of lawmakers

KATHMANDU, June 16: The main opposition party, CPN-UML, has decided to obstruct the meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) when the Finance Minister Janardan Shama will be answering the queries of the lawmakers about the budget.
“We will obstruct the meeting while Finance Minister Sharma will be speaking,” said Subash Nembang, leader of the party.
As per the business schedule list of the HoR meeting, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Finance Minister Sharma are scheduled to address the meeting and answer the queries about the budget.
The main opposition party, UML has been accusing Finance Minister Sharma of including unofficial personnel during the preparation of the budget and changing the tax rates favoring them.
