Former chair of FNJ, Bista, bereaved of mother

KATHMANDU, August 18: Former Chairperson of the Federation of Nepali Journalists and former Chairperson of Nepal Television, Dr Mahendra Bista, has been bereaved of his mother.
Suffering from asthma, Purna Maya Bista, 83, died in course of treatment at Medicare Hospital, Kathmandu, on Tuesday night.
Last rites of Purna Maya were performed at Ambasi of Belala municipality-1 in Udayapur district today.
She is survived by a husband, five sons and a daughter.
