Singer Bhattarai dies in road accident

Kathmandu–Singer Nishan Bhattarai has been killed in a road accident at Kathmandu Metropolitan City-32, Koteshwar last night.

The accident took place when he was heading home driving a car (Ba 10 Cha 304) from Durbar Marga. According to Metropolitan Traffic Police Division spokesperson Jeevan Kumar Shrestha, Bhattarai, who was critically injured in the accident, died while undergoing treatment at Trauma Centre, Bir Hospital in the capital.
